Tennyson Totes

There is a great joy in experimenting with textile and found objects as they contribute to the artistic expression in each of these individual assemblage bags. Each bag has its own personality as the designer works with found remnants and objects and other specialty contemporary fabrics and industrial objects to create the overall design. These include carbinas and seatbelts which are a constant element on each piece. After assembling the bag model, the detail work begins. Found objects and fabrics are sought out that will reflect the theme of each bag. Beyond being just bags - each one of the Tennyson Totes is created to be a unique, and wearable work of art.
